Exhibit C — conduct

Rules

Breaches are handled by staff at their discretion

Overview

001

We're Hands off

Ferrisvheel Commonwealth is intended to be a long-term world where players have a lot of freedom to play how they want. These rules exist to protect the community rather than micromanage it.

Use Common Sense

002

If something obviously crosses the line, don't do it.

Not everything needs to be explicitly listed as a rule. Staff may intervene in situations that aren't specifically covered here if necessary to protect the server or its community.

Respect Other Players

003

Treat other players with a reasonable level of respect and courtesy.

Arguments, disagreements, banter and rivalry are fine. Personal attacks, targeted harassment, intimidation, or deliberately making someone's time on the server miserable are not.

Swearing & Language

004

Swearing is allowed.

Don't use language as an excuse to harass, threaten, or deliberately target another person. Context matters.

Builds & Creativity

005

Builds are not moderated.

Build whatever you want, wherever you want, provided you aren't deliberately using builds to harass, target, or disrupt other players. Staff generally won't interfere with questionable, offensive, ugly, strange or unconventional builds. However, if you deliberately push the boundaries to the point where it becomes a problem for the community, staff may act at their discretion.

Griefing & Stealing

006

Griefing and stealing are allowed.

They are part of the freedom of the server and players should understand that anything they leave accessible may not remain untouched. That said, respect and common courtesy still apply. Don't turn a bit of harmless theft or rivalry into sustained harassment or deliberately ruin someone's entire experience. If you steal something, don't expect staff to return it just because you didn't like the consequences.

No Threats or Harassment

007

Do not threaten, stalk, intimidate, or repeatedly harass another player.

Friendly trash talk, banter, rivalries and shit-talking are fine when everyone involved is reasonably participating in it. There is a difference between messing with someone and genuinely targeting them.

Don't Ruin the Server for Everyone Else

008

Don't deliberately engage in behaviour that significantly disrupts the server or makes it unusable for other players.

This includes things such as: Intentionally causing excessive server lag Exploiting severe bugs or vulnerabilities Deliberately interfering with the server's infrastructure Using exploits to gain an unreasonable advantage If you discover a serious exploit, let staff know rather than abusing it.

Cheats & Unfair Advantages

009

No hacked clients, cheats, or other software intended to provide an unfair advantage.

Normal client-side modifications that don't provide an unfair advantage are fine.

Staff Decisions

010

Staff have the final say when intervention is necessary.

Rules cannot cover every possible situation, and staff may use their discretion when dealing with behaviour that falls outside the specific wording of these rules. Staff will generally aim to be reasonable and proportionate rather than looking for reasons to punish people.

Don't Be a Dick

011

This is probably the most important rule.

You have a lot of freedom here. Don't abuse that freedom to make the server worse for everyone else. Play how you want. Build what you want. Steal shit. Start rivalries. Talk shit. Have fun. Just remember that there are actual people on the other side of the screen. Use common sense, show some respect, and we'll get along fine.
